Ian Bruff is Lecturer in European Politics at the University of Manchester, UK. He has published on capitalist diversity, European capitalisms, neoliberalism and social theory. He is currently researching the foundations of neoliberal thought and is the Managing Editor of the Transforming Capitalism book series. Cemal Burak Tansel is Lecturer in International Politics in the Department of Politics at the University of Sheffield, UK. His research focuses on the historical sociology of state formation and capitalist development in the Middle East and the political economy of development. He is the Editor of States of Discipline: Authoritarian Neoliberalism and the Contested Reproduction of Capitalist Order (2017).
