Fabio Vighi is Reader in European Cinema and Critical Theory and co-director of the Centre for Ideology Critique and Zizek Studies at Cardiff University, UK. He is the author of Traumatic Encounters in Italian Film: Locating the Cinematic Unconscious, Sexual Difference in European Cinema: the Curse of Enjoyment, Critical Theory and Film, and On Zizek’s Dialectics: Surplus, Subtraction, Sublimation. Slavoj Zizek is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Ljubljana, Professor at the European Graduate School and International Director of the Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities, University of London, UK.
