Dr. Singh is working as a Professor and Head, Department of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences at National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), Kundli, Haryana, India, and has more than 20 years of experience in applied microbiology with a special focus on endophytic microorganisms and their applications in agriculture and health sciences. Dr. Singh explored the indigenous fermented products of Northeast India and isolated several probiotic strains, and characterized them. Currently, his group is exploring these isolated strains for their potential to synthesize neurotransmitters such as GABA, serotonin, dopamine, and SCFAs, and incorporating these strains into functional beverages by adopting co-encapsulation technology. Dr. Singh has published more than 100 research articles and is a part of the Global Burden of Diseases collaborators. Dr. Singh edited 8 books with Elsevier and Springer on different aspects of applied microbiology.Vijai K. Dr. Gupta’s present work is focused on the development and optimization of novel enzyme-based bioconversion systems for biorefining and bioenergy, bioactive natural products and biomass to bioproduct valorisation using microbial technologies. He has 122 publications with h-index 36 and RG Score 41.25 Dr. Ajit Kumar Passari working as Postdoctoral Scientist in Instituto de Investigaciones Biomédicas, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), México. Dr. Passari has more than eight years of research experience in the fields of Clinical, Genomics, Bioactive Compound Production, Agricultural Biotechnology, Plant-Microbe Interactions, Natural Product Isolation, PGPR, and biocontrol effect in crop plants. Dr. Passari obtained a doctorate in Biotechnology from the Department of Biotechnology, Mizoram University, India. Dr. Passari has published more than 50 publications in different reputed international and national journals along with many edited books published with Elsevier, Springer, etc. and he has also filled many patents in India. Dr. Passari has a life member of various scientific bodies like American Society of Microbiology (ASM), Microbiology Society & Indian Science Congress etc. Dr. Passari is a reviewer of different international journals including Nature-Scientific Reports, Frontiers in Microbiology, PLOS One, Biotechnology Reports and Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology.
