He is the author of Hartshorne and the Metaphysics of Animal Rights; and St. John of the Cross: An Appreciation, both published by SUNY Press, as well as Plato's Philosophy of History; The Philosophy of Vegetarianism; Thoreau the Platonist; and Christian Pacifism.
