Laurel Bossen is Professor Emerita of Anthropology at McGill University. She is the author of Chinese Women and Rural Development: 60 Years of Change in Lu Village, Yunnan (2002).Hill Gates is Professor Emerita of Anthropology at Central Michigan University.
