She is the author of recent essays on gender, power, and cultural relations, and coeditor with Barbara Gabriel of Postmodernism and the Ethical Subject (forthcoming).LYNNE PHILLIPS is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, University of Windsor. Her previous publications include Ethnographic Feminisms (1995) coedited with Sally Cole, and The Third Wave of Modernization in Latin America: Cultural Perspective on Neoliberalism (1997).
