This new edition has a foreword by the Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka. The book highlights Saro- Wiwa's ideology, his cause, his ultimate sacrifice and the injustice of his death. It also focuses on the Ogoni struggle against the multinational Shell and the Nigerian dictatorship. His story illustrates the consequences of living in a world powered by fossil fuels.
