Pankaj Sharma is a Professor of Pharmaceutics and Head of the Department at ShriRam College of Pharmacy, Banmore, Morena (M.P.), India, with over 14 years of teaching and research experience in pharmaceutical sciences. He earned his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, where his doctoral research focused on the development of nanoemulsion-based transdermal drug delivery systems for malaria therapy. He also holds an M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics, supported by an AICTE–GPAT fellowship.Dr. Sharma’s research interests span nanomedicine, smart polymers, transdermal and targeted drug delivery systems, pharmaceutical nanotoxicology, artificial intelligence in healthcare, and advanced formulation development. He has made significant contributions to academia through 60+ peer-reviewed publications, including articles in Scopus- and Web of Science–indexed journals, along with numerous book chapters published by leading international publishers.He is the editor/author of multiple international books published or accepted by CRC Press, Elsevier, Apple Academic Press (Taylor & Francis), and Bentham Science, and actively contributes to interdisciplinary research at the intersection of nanotechnology, AI, and personalized medicine. Dr. Sharma is also an approved M.Pharm guide, having successfully supervised several postgraduate research projects.In recognition of his academic excellence, he has received the “Best Doctorate Award” from the Indian Pharma Educational Society and holds a UK design patent for a smart pharmaceutical monitoring system. His commitment to teaching, research mentorship, and innovation continues to support the advancement of pharmaceutical education and translational research.Shashi Ravi Suman Rudrangi is a Chartered Scientist and an accomplished pharmaceutical scientist with more than 13 years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation research and development, technology transfer, and drug product commercialization. He currently serves as the Senior Drug Product Development and Commercialisation Manager (Technical Head) at Kent-Athlone Pharma Group in the United Kingdom and Ireland, where he leads multidisciplinary teams engaged in the development and scale-up of oral solid dosage formulations. His work focuses on generic drug product development, formulation optimization, analytical method development, process validation, and regulatory documentation within cGMP-compliant pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. Dr. Rudrangi has successfully managed several international technology transfer projects and supported the commercial launch of pharmaceutical products in multiple European markets.Dr. Rudrangi received his PhD in Pharmaceutics from the University of Greenwich, UK, after completing an MSc in Formulation Science from the same institution and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Kakatiya University, India. His research interests include advanced drug delivery systems, solubility enhancement strategies, amorphous solid dispersions, particle engineering, and pharmaceutical process optimization. In addition to his industrial leadership role, he contributes to academia as an Industrial PhD Supervisor at the University of Wolverhampton and has previously served as a lecturer in pharmaceutics at UK universities.He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), a Chartered Scientist, and a member of several international scientific organizations. Dr. Rudrangi has received numerous professional recognitions, including the Royal Society of Chemistry Inspirational Committee Award and the Best Young Researcher Award at the World Drug Delivery Summit.Vinay Jain has always been astounded by the medicinal properties that plants possess. To use them in the welfare of mankind has always been there in his contemplation until his graduation (2002), which he completed from SOS, Pharmacy from Jiwaji University, Gwalior. This motivated him to select Pharmacognosy as one of his subjects in Major. He completed M. Pharm (2007) in Pharmacognosy from Barkatullah University Bhopal. Having completed his postgraduation, he started exploring phytochemicals in his professional journey as Assistant Professor in ShriRam College of Pharmacy, Banmore. Concurrently, he got a chance to be part of the training & placement team. This developed his soft skills to a large extent. He successfully defended his thesis entitled "Phytochemical and Pharmacological investigation of Arisaema leschenaultii" for Ph. D. He was awarded Ph. D in Pharmaceutical science and technology from Berhampur University, Odisha. He was Co-convener of Indo-Caribbean conference which was hosted by Shri Ram College of Pharmacy in 2018. He was also the organising secretary of national conference on "The Future Prospect in Pharma Marketing" hosted in association with IPGA. Till date, he has guided more than 20 undergraduate and post graduate students in major projects. His CV today hosts about 30 papers which have been published in distinguished journals/books of international and national repute which are indexed in SCI and SCOPUS. He has presented more than 20 papers in national and international seminars and conferences. He was also privileged to get grants from technical professional bodies like AICTE and MPCST for organising conferences. He is a life time member of Indian Society of Pharmacognosy. He always tries to keep his staff highly motivated with his open-door policy for grievance redressal and with efficient leadership skills because he believes that only a highly motivated team creates a highly efficient institution.
