    Mike Rayner is an Associate Professor and Head of the School of Psychology, Sport, and Health Sciences at the University of Portsmouth, UK. He is the Section Editor for the sport section of the Cogent Social Sciences Journal and sits on the editorial boards of Managing Sport and Leisure, Business and Management, and The International Journal for Business and Social Science.Kieren McEwan is a Senior Lecturer in Sports Management and Development at the University of Portsmouth, UK. He works within the School of Psychology, Sport and Health Science, where he serves as Programme Lead for Educational Partnerships and is a Member of the school executive committee. He has previously worked with the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) on their accreditation scheme for higher education courses. His research interests revolve around the management of extreme and adventurous sports, particularly their commodification and appeal.Chris Yorke is an Associate Lecturer in Sport Management in the School of Business at Western Sydney University, Australia. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and a Member of the Sport Management Association of Australia and New Zealand. His research interests align with his practitioner experience engaging with community sport, which included the chairmanship of Longlevens Rugby Football Club. His teaching is informed by a partnership pedagogy to co-design, co-develop, and co-deliver the curriculum with industry partners.Helen Symons is a Senior Lecturer in Sport Management at the University of Portsmouth, UK, with nearly a decade of experience in teaching and assessing. She holds a PG Cert LTHE from the University of the West of England and FHEA status. Her work is focused on global sport events, and she uses sociology, policy, governance, and management principles as part of her teaching and research practice.Cat Phipps is a Senior Lecturer in Sport Management at the University of Portsmouth, UK. She is broadly interested in equity and inclusion in sport and has published on a variety of topics, including gender inclusion in the higher education context, women’s sporting experiences in the Middle East, and the experiences of LGBTQ+ people in sport.
