Nanjala Nyabola is a writer, researcher, and policy analyst, and the author of several titles including Digital Demcoracy, Analogue Politics: How the Internet Era is Transforming Politics in Kenya (Zed, 2018).Taylor Owen is the Beaverbrook Chair in Media, Ethics and Communications and the Founding Director of the Center for Media, Technology and Democracy, and an associate professor at the Max Bell School of Public Policy at McGill University, Canada.Heidi Tworek is Canada Research Chair and Associate Professor in Public Policy and International history at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. Her latest book is News from Germany: The Competition to Control World Communications, 1900 – 1945.
