Part 1 of the Adolescent Health Care collection presents the most salient of recent publications that aim to describe and address the current issues that affect the health and well-being of children in this important step of their development. Adolescents have a myriad of dynamic changes happening simultaneously, which undoubtedly affect their behaviors and health. It’s a time noted for emerging autonomy and sense of self, decision making, and experimentation.
