Dr. Mohammad Badruddoza Talukder is a distinguished academic, researcher, and industry professional, currently serving as Associate Professor and Chair of the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) at the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He earned his Ph.D. in Hotel Management from Lovely Professional University, India, and has been actively engaged in teaching, research, and academic leadership since 2008. With a strong academic foundation and extensive professional experience, he has established himself as a leading voice in tourism, hospitality, and technology-driven innovation. Recognized among the Top 2% of Scientists in the World, his contributions have gained significant international recognition.Dr. Talukder’s research focuses on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, and other emerging technologies within tourism, hospitality, and aviation. His work explores how these technologies enhance operational efficiency, improve service quality, and enable smart tourism ecosystems while supporting sustainable development. He has an extensive publication record, including numerous Scopus-indexed papers, and has authored and edited influential books with leading international publishers such as IGI Global, Cambridge Scholars Publishing, Emerald, CABI, Bentham Science, and Springer. His research contributions bridge theoretical advancement with practical application, making them highly relevant to both academia and industry.In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Talukder brings valuable industry experience through managerial roles in business-class hotels, particularly in food and beverage operations. He is actively involved in global academic engagement as a keynote speaker, session chair, reviewer, and editorial board member for reputable journals. As a certified trainer, he contributes to professional development and workforce capacity building in the tourism and hospitality sector. His interdisciplinary research interests include smart tourism systems, digital transformation, sustainable hospitality, aviation innovation, and technology-driven service models. Through his leadership, research, and collaboration, Dr. Talukder continues to shape the future of a more intelligent, sustainable, and technology-driven global hospitality industry.A. K. Haghi is a retired professor and environmentalist who is currently a research associate at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. He holds a B.Sc. in urban and environmental engineering from the University of North Carolina (USA) and holds two M.Sc. degrees, one in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University (USA) and another one in applied mechanics, acoustics, and materials from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (France). He was awarded a Ph.D. in engineering sciences at Université de Franche-Comté (France).Dr. Vijay Prakash Gupta, an associate professor and Ph.D. coordinator at GLA University, Mathura, has over 18 years of academic and administrative experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Management, an MBA, an M.A. in Economics, and has qualified the UGC NET. He also holds certifications from premier institutions such as IITs and IIMs.He has been recognized by the Higher Education Department, Govt. of U.P., India, for his contributions to NEP-2020, he has also received the PERFICIO Award 2020 for Research and Innovation from Campbell University, USA. He has successfully completed a government-funded project granted by ICSSR, Government of India.Dr. Gupta is the author and editor of approximately 12 books published by reputed publishers such as Springer, Wiley, Bentham Science, Emerald, IGI Global, CRC Press, among others. He has published around 30 research papers in reputed journals indexed in ABDC, Scopus, Web of Science, and UGC CARE. His achievements also include four patents, and he frequently serves as a keynote speaker, Ph.D. expert, and Board of Studies member at various universities across India.
