      Gary McCulloch is the Brian Simon Professor of the History of Education and Director of the International Centre for Historical Research in Education (ICHRE) at IOE, UCL’s Faculty of Education and Society, University College London, UK. He is currently Vice-President and President-elect of the British Educational Research Association and Editor of the British Journal of Educational Studies. He is a past President of the UK History of Education Society (2005-2007) and was Editor of the international journal History of Education from 1996 to 2003. His recent publications include Education, War and Peace (2016) and The Struggle for the History of Education (2011).
