Rajendra Awasthi is Professor of Pharmaceutics at Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, School of Health Sciences & Technology, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, UPES, Dehradun, India. Santosh Kumar Singh, PhD, is a Senior Scientist at the Centre of Experimental Medicine and Surgery, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. He has more than 25 years of research experience and has led projects supported by the Department of Science and Technology, Department of Biotechnology, and Science and Engineering Research Board. His academic activities include supervising doctoral and postdoctoral researchers and medical trainees across MD, MS, DM, and MCh programmes. He previously conducted postdoctoral research at Banaras Hindu University and served as a Visiting Scientist at the Institute of Physical Biology, University of South Bohemia, Czech Republic. He also contributes to scholarly publishing through service on the editorial boards of scientific journals. Anurag Kumar Singh, PhD, is a Research Associate in the Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering and Technology at the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, India. His research focuses on developing nanoparticulate systems for chronic pain, neurodegenerative disorders, brain-targeted drug delivery, diagnostics, and therapy. His work includes dendrimers, nanoporous silica and silicon materials, and polymeric nanoparticles for controlled drug delivery, with broader interests in nanomedicines for biomedical and healthcare applications and in integrating engineering, pharmaceutical, and medical research. He previously held postdoctoral research positions in cancer biology at Alabama State University, USA, and in nanotechnology and advanced materials at Bar-Ilan University, Israel.
