ENGAGE is a tribute to the power of self-determined stories. This dynamic anthology includes reflections by Indigenous, Black and Afro-Indigenous organizers and educators analyzing and resisting historical and contemporary violence and theft.Both raw and disciplined, ENGAGE discusses spirituality, environmentalism, security, freedom, autonomy, Indigenous cultures, anti-Blackness, family, and liberatory pedagogy.
