Gifted or Just Plain Smart

Audrey M. Quinlan recently retired as the Chair of the Division of Education and Graduate Program Director at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania where she still currently teaches graduate courses in gifted education and curriculum and instruction. She holds supervisory, principal, and teacher certifications in elementary and middle level education and has taught and been a principal in public and parochial schools.

Educators, students, and parents alike agree that the COVID-19 pandemic changed education forever. While all students struggled to find their identity as learners and individuals within the chaos, gifted students who understood the complexities of such dramatic changes especially struggled.
