Julie Reid is based at the Department of Communication Science, University of South Africa and specialises in media studies. She is the editor and co-author of the book Looking at media: an introduction to visual studies.Dale T. McKinley is an independent writer, researcher and lecturer and Research and Education Officer for the International Labour, Research and Information Group.
