Integrated Terrestrial and Non-Terrestrial Networks

Muhammad Ali Jamshed received a Ph.D. degree from the University of Surrey, Guildford, U.K, in 2021. He has been with the University of Glasgow, UK since 2021. He is also affiliated with University of Sussex as visiting Research Fellow, since 2022. He is endorsed by Royal Academy of Engineering under exceptional talent category and was nominated for Departmental Prize for Excellence in Research in 2019 and 2020 at the University of Surrey. He is a Fellow of Royal Society of Arts, a Senior Member of IEEE, a Fellow of Higher Education Academy UK, and an Associate Editor of IEEE Sensor Journal and IEEE IoT Magazine. He has more than 50 publications in top tier international journals, including IEEE Transactions and Magazines, flagship IEEE COMSOC conferences, such as ICC, VTC, INFOCOM, WCNC, etc. He is an editor of 4 books on topics related to Low exposure EMF devices, multimodal sensing applications, non-terrestrial networks and Green and Sustainable IoT. He is a founding member of IEEE Workshop on Sustainable and Intelligent Green Internet of Things. Moreover, he served as a TPC, and the workshop General Chair, at many well-known conferences, i.e., ICC, WCNC, VTC, GlobeCom etc., and other scientific workshops. Ali Nauman received the M.Sc. degree in wireless communications from the Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2016, and the Ph.D. degree in information and communication engineering from Yeungnam University, Gyeongsan, Republic of Korea, in 2022. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science, Yeungnam University. He has contributed to five patents and authored/co authored five book chapters and more than 75 technical articles in leading journals and peer-reviewed conferences. Dr. Nauman has also edited two books and serves as an editor and a reviewer of highly reputed journals and conferences.
