He is the Chairman and Company Secretary of FBA, a PR, corporate affairs and branding and design company based in Aberystwyth. He also created and continues to edit The Wales Yearbook, a guide to public affairs in Wales, published by Francis Balsom Associates (FBA). J. Barry Jones is an editor of The Welsh Veto and The Road to the National Assembly for Wales.
