Barbro Holm Ivarsson, konsult, är leg. psykolog och har arbetat med MI i 20 år. Barbro är Sveriges mest lästa MI-författare och har skrivit många böcker, manualer, webbprogram och gjort filmer om MI. Det opereras flera tusen om året för övervikt i Sverige och man opererar även på barn så unga som i nedre tonåren. Den information man får inför dessa operationer är väldigt generell och i den här boken går jag ner på djupet och ifrågasätter vad som vi faktiskt utsätter oss för när vi möblerar om och tar bort delar av vårt matsmältningssystem.
